Nine generations of hard work along with innovative thinking brought us here today.
Our farm has been in our familysince 1799- that’s nine generations!
From my grandfather walking behind an ox and plow to my dad and I sitting on a tractor, we’ve had a lot of time to think about how to do things differently. In the 1920’s my grandfather started making home deliveries of fruit with his truck, which was a completely novel thing at the time. In the late 1960’s my dad started the first pick your own fruit farm – another innovation of the time. To this day, our pick your own fruit program continues to be a favourite summer pass time. We believe the tradition will continue for years to come as young visitors grow up and share this experience with their own children. Whether delivering fruit to your door or selecting the most delicious varieties that people love, you our customer, have always been the focus of our attention.
Here we grow again!
And now we carry on that tradition with thoughtfully crafted caramel apples that look great and taste even better so that you enjoy every bite. As we’ve continued to grow over the years, so have our bushels! Although we are no longer operating directly out of the historical family barn like when we started, we have brought our traditions and values to our facility just down the road. We partnered with Court Holdings Ltd in 2013 – another locally grown company – to help us bring our apples to even more households across the country.
